The most important places are marked on the map below:

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Cracow has a fairly dense public transport system which consists of tram and bus lines. There are two zones. The Kraków Aiport is located in the second zone; The Cracow University of Technology, Main Railway Station and hotels are situated in the first zone. Tickets can be bought at newsagents or in ticket machines at bus and tram stops. Ticket machines can also be found in a number of buses and trams.

Drivers can sell tickets as well, but note: they only have “multiple trips valid 60 min (in I zone) or 90 min (in II zone)” tickets and reduced tickets available. In all these places you can only pay in cash (only a small number of ticket machines accept card payments).
